If you're not able to add a company, it may have following reasons:
- The company already exists: Use the search bar at the top to find the company
- The security code has expired, refresh it.

| A: The top companies and the top category clouds denote the companies and categories most pinged and talked about. |

| Q: How does PingmyCompany.com assist Company Account Holders? |
| A: PingMycompany.com provides Company Account Holders with an interface to reply to pings, answer different questions, update the PingMyCompany users with latest job openings in their company, and promote their company. |

| Q: What if my company received too many pings in against? |
| A: Please, do not expect that all the pings will be in favor of your company. We duly protect companies with our ‘Inappropriate Policy’, but it’s also not recommended for Company Account Holder to report every negative comment as an inappropriate one. |

| Q: How can I reply to a ping? |
| A: In order to reply to any of the ping, login to your company account. You'll be directed to the control panel of your company, and there under pings section, you can reply to each of the ping. |

| Q: How Can I report a ping inappropriate? |

This option is available to you either you're logged in or not. Simply press the 'report inappropriate' just below a ping. |

| Q: How does Q&A Section help me? |
| A: Q&A section helps company account holders to create their company's FAQs page within PingMyCompany.com so that users can have all sorts of information about the company at single place. This section also provides opportunity to users to ask questions to the company account holders, so that there can be a strong bond in between them. |

| Q: I want to answer some general questions related to my company: |
| A: Login to your company account holder's account, ans post a new question under Q&A section. Once you've posted the question, answer it yourself. This is the best way if you've a list of questions that you your company. |

| Q: I've added some general questions about my company, are they enough? |
| A: If you're done with the list of questions you'd in mind, it's enough. Now keep an eye on what people are asking you. |

| Q: My company's description is not correct, can I change it? |
| A: If you feel that the description of your company is not right, you can change it as you wish it to be. Simply login to your account and clidk the 'edit' button at top right corner. |

| Q: Is it necessary to add my company's description? |
| A: Yes, definitely it is! This is the pitch you use to tell people about your company. |

| Q: What are 'Tags' used for? |
| A: Tags are basically the search terms people use to search you. These can be your expertise, your brand name, features of your products and services etc. |

| Q: My company is listed under wrong category, how can I get it corrected? |
| A: Yes, you can do it certainly. Login to your account and click the 'edit' button at top right corner. In new window, you can change your comapny's category from a drop down list. |

| Q: My company is listed under wrong region, how can I get it corrected? |
| A: This is same as changing category or description, i.e. login to your account and click the 'edit' button at top right corner. In new window, select the right country from the drop down list. |

| A: Go to your company account holders' section, and delete or edit the questions and or answers in Q&A area. |

| Q: Is it necessary for mention my name? |
| A: It's not a compulsion, but we recommend to mention name, so that the ping can look authentic to general public. Though we recommend mention your name with the comment, we also provide you with the option to keep the identity anonymous. |

| Q: What to ping in favor or against? |
| A: Pinging in favor or against a company is completely dependant on your own opinion, but before pinging make sure that your comment contains your honest opinion and or is based on logical arguments. |

| Q: How to ensure that a comment is logical? |
| A: Though your logical thought may be considered as illogical by someone else, but by quoting a real experience or fact can ensure that a comment is based on some sound grounds and is worth considering. |

| Q: Can I ping a company more than once? |
| A: Pinging a company more than once under general is not recommended. We recommend to choose the appropriate category, i.e. office culture, interview experience, etc and ping a concise comment for that particular category. |

| Q: What is the policy for negative pings? |
| A: Negative comments along with pings in against are of course welcomed but only if they contain constructive criticism. In case if such comments intend to hit a company on the basis of personal concerns, our inappropriate policy duly protects the company. |

| Q: Is it good to give reference of a previous ping? |
| A: If you’re not the company account holder and do not have company account, you’re not allowed to respond to and or reference or quote a previous ping. Yes, you can respond using your company account. |

| Q: What's PingMyCompany's inappropriate policy? |

Any ping that contains abusive content falls under inappropriate category at PingMyCompany.com. |

| Q: How Can I have an company account holder's account at PingMyCompany.com? |
| A: You must have an email address on your company's site for having your company account. Please, click here to create an account. |

| Q: Can I have more than one company accounts accounts at PingMyCompany.com? |
| A: You cannot have more than one accounts, but maximum of three users can share a single account, using three different email addresses [that exisit on company's website, i.e. 'hr@site.com', 'careers@site.com', and 'info@site.com'. |

| Q: Why company account email addresses are restricted to 'hr@site.com', 'careers@site.com', and 'info@site.com'? |
| A: Providing company account holders with secure and authentic feedback is our priority, so we accept only those emails, which are used by the relevant departments of your company. We don't allow employees emails to be used for company account holder account. |

Before deciding to take any legal action against PingMyCompany.com, please keep in mind that PingMyCompany.com is just a public forum where people can post their opinions. The content is purely user generated and doesn't include the opinions of any of the members of PingMyCompany.com's management team. If you find a ping libelous or actionable for any reason, you may create an company account holder account and reply to the ping in a decent manner.
