The office environment is nice as far as the physical environment is concerned but that's where everything nice about this office ends.
Everybody is always tense with no sense of job security and with the CEO of the company looming around picking out easy targets to jolt. Then there's the IT manager who may be a knowledge power house but for some reason isn't all that keen on sharing it with anyone. And how can i forget the CTO, who is perhaps the brains behind the whole company. He sounds like an awfully nice guy but rumours are that he is the one who decides everybody's pay and trust me they are well below standards.
WIth all these three people combined, nobody has peace of mind. If you browse around you will see everybody has rozee.pk open on their computers

Hah! THe word increment is non existent here. You get hired on a low salary and you are either fired or you leave on the same salary. The worst part is that they promise you an increment after probation and it never materializes.
This is one of the major reasons why the turn over rate is so high in this company. Frustration of not getting payed well enough

One of the really weird thing about the top bosses related to the IT department is that they like to work late and in the process drag most of the department with them. Sometimes people are made to stay by telling them that there will be work coming shortly and it never happens! And when they do hold you back, they don't offer you any sort of sustenance.
First they pay you less, then they make you stay late even when you don't have work. Heck! They can even call you on Sundays which is so inhumane!

They offer you no joining letter. They offer you no experience letter after you quit therefore you have no proof that you worked for this company.
They offer no bonuses. You have to beg them for an increment.
They make you work more then 9 hours a day, 6 days a week and Sundays can be on any time.
You have to work under the constant threat of being fired and the wrath of the CEO and the IT Manager.
I seriously doubt they pay taxes as they don't have a website, a sign board outside their office and not even an official phone number!

One of the worst company of my career, where i think now that i have wasted eight months of my life, and dam ..have no proof now that i worked here ..i planed to leave now with out any reference or experience letter.......... please don't even try to apply over there..........

The salaries are extremely low as compared to the amount of work that is extracted from employees. Increments are agreed upon but are never given which adds to the frustration of employees. You are either fired, or you leave at the same salary that you were hired at. A medical insurance plan was mentioned but that hasn't materialized either

It's plain sad to see that performance is quantified by how late one sits and how many Sundays one is willing to put in office. What's even sadder is that it doesn't matter if you are actually doing any work or not after 6, heck you can facebook all night but that would still put you in the good books of the management if you are staying late in office

If you are married then you might as well divorce immediately after joining this company as you won't be seeing your family very often, other then maybe around lunch time as that's when you will be waking up. Then by the time you get home, everybody would be asleep. And ohh noo, you can't promise your wife that you can take her out for dinner on Sunday as you guessed it, you can be called to office

Yes. All these are comments about late night sittings are true but there is one thing that all the bosses are friendly. They don't behave like a strict bosses but behave like a friend.
In majority of the software house you will have late sittings especially in telecom sector.

There are companies which give compensation for late night sittings but the are only 10% of the total companies. As per I know Earth factor reimburse you the money you spend for dinner at late night and also if you hire cab for going at late night to your home.

After leaving earth factor I’ve switched 4 companies but it was the worst company of all. Not only because of late night sitting and weekend calls also they cant understand ur problems. they only focused on their own benefits. Even they don’t treat you as human caz they aren’t humans.

Its very easy to say most of the companies offers late night sitting I think u don’t have enough experience or enough knowledge about the companies. At most 5% companies like earth factor are offering late night sitting (ah for earth factor not offering it should be forcing) in which 3% highly facilitate you except 2% which includes Earth Factor as well. And If a company calls you on weekend they pay you one and half day salary or something like that. I think we are giving useless speeches because only normal persons can understand this and you will not find any normal person in the management of earth factor. So Mr sonic u should analyze the market first before giving these statements which shows how sophisticated you are……

The last organization that i worked for would have late sittings too but you would never see any employee disgruntled. This was because as soon as the clock struck 9PM, dinner would be called in for everybody still working in office. At earth factor however every time i had had to eat on my own heck i even had to pay for the IT manager twice! Never in my life have i seen bigger cheapskates then the management of earth factor (a.k.a the hell hole)

I say bollocks to "friendly bosses". Would friendly bosses keep you away from your family at weeks at an end? Would friendly bosses come in 4 hours after you to office and then make you work throughout the night? Things are overly complicated for no reason at all. You get to hear of technologies that nobody uses to achieve simple goals in a manner that can drive you up a wall! I don't call this a learning environment. Initially i thought that flexible timings was a good thing too but after having experienced first hand being forced to stay in late for no reason at all, now that's a major bummer!

The word professionalism is absent from their dictionary. I would love to see an example of professionalism or even quasi-professionalism from earth factor. Since we are on this topic let me give you an example of a typical day at the office.
You come in at 11AM just to realize that the bosses aren't in yet so you wait for them to come in. It's lunch time but just as soon as you are about to step out for lunch, you either get a call from your boss or they meet you at the doorway while coming in. Eventually you hurriedly have your lunch. You complete the tasks assigned to you and are ready to head home around 7-8PM but just then the bosses give you heaps of work. Enough to ensure that you can't leave office before 2AM. And this routine goes on and on and on until one day you are called in for a weekend because of tasks that just appeared out of nowhere but the bosses insist that its urgent and cannot be delayed. On Monday however you find out that the urgent task that you did over the weekend has been scrapped

I somewhat liked the interview process in this company, it was really quick and I was hired in no time (just 2 days later). And I also liked the "physical environment" there and would've joined it right away. But then I happened to read all the negative pings about staying till 11 and putting Sundays. Plus a friend of mine joined too and confirmed all this. I thanked God I hadn't made the mistake of joining this company. :D Anyways I'm pinging in favor because all the 3 people that interviewed me were really nice and the salary offer was good too, but overtime doesn't suit me, oh no!

u will never get raise until u do lot of TC and TC and TC and TC, then u will get only 5% raise waiting whole year,.... and some time when u ask them about raise they will say your "code comment have a spelling mistake" you typed "FRO" instead of "FOR" so company suffered a lot due to that... please wait for another year.
